Teams in Training: Juarez, Mexico

Our fourth adult summer team to Juarez leaves May 31 in partnership with Marco and Carmen Samaniego and the Hands of Luke Medical Ministries. Our team will serve at the orphange in dowtown Juarez to help care for and encourage the children and the staff. They will also be participating in construction projects: tiling in the medical clinic and tiling and painting in the Children's Village of Conquista.

The Children's Village is a compound in Colonia Conquista with a nutritional center, medical clinic, and several one story duplexes. The vision of this compound has recently shifted focus to help the neglected and abandoned children in Colonia Conquista. The colonias are former city dumps on the outskirts of Juarez which have become large communities for the poorer people in the area.

Please pray for our team as they are in the midst of their preparations and support raising to go serve our ministry partners. .
