Northern Ireland Update #1

Hello from Coleraine!

Well here we are, almost through with week one! The time has flown by since we arrived. Our original plan was not to be at Juniper Hill this week, but we are thankful that God directs our steps so that we could meet these wonderful kids. After only two days of playing soccer and games like four square, we've really connected to many children and have gotten great opportunities to talk to them and love on them. In the afternoons we've been having VBS for the younger kids; the team has done a great job planning crafts and ways to present the stories we're telling. At night we've returned to try to hang out with the older kids, and last night a game of soccer dwindled down to just a few players as many of our team members sat down with some of them just to talk. It has been an amazing week- we're only sad that there is so little time left with them.

Please continue to pray for us as we end this week. Pray that we will have a chance to really talk to some of these children and teenagers.

Claire, for the team
