Youth Mexico Update #3

The first team is finishing up their week of ministry in Mexico this morning. Besides the 106 degree heat, everything seemed to go really well. They were able to complete their kid's programs and connect with alot of children from the community and share the love of Christ. They also made some headway on the construction assignments in preparation for the second team.

This team will be crossing the boarder into El Paso today. Please pray for their crossing and their recuperation time. Also pray for their debriefing time as they discuss what the Lord has taught them this week.

They will be flying back to Birmingham tomorrow. Please pray for their safety in travel. Here is their flight schedule:

FROM El Paso 8:00am TO Dallas 10:45am

FROM Dallas 12:00pm TO Birmingham 1:43pm

The second team of students will be travelling to El Paso tomorrow. Please pray for their safety in travel as well. Their flight schedule is:

FROM Birmingham 10:40am TO Dallas 12:30am
FROM Dallas 1:10pm TO El Paso 1:45pm

The teams are scheduled to pass in the air over Texas. Please pray as well for the leaders who will be staying for the second week as well (Happy Anthony, Cameron Cardwell, Jessica DeLaney, Trpy Gambrell, Mark Yoder). The heat, culture, and work could make gearing up for the second week difficult. Pray for endurance and strength as they continue to serve.
