The team arrived safely in El Paso this evening after having an eventful day of air travel. Due to a flight delay leaving Birmingham, they missed their connection in Dallas and had to split into two groups to continue on to El Paso. The groups arrived about an hour apart, but with no problems.
They will be staying at Lakeside Church in El Paso tonight (where Marco Samaniego pastors) and leading the worship service there in the morning. They plan to cross the border tomorrow afternoon and settle in at the orphanage before starting VBS and construction on Monday.
Please pray for the team to get solid rest tonight. Pray for the details of the service in the morning, that God would be glorified and the Body (our team and their congregation) will be encouraged. Also pray for the team as they cross the border into Mexico and prepare for their busy week of activities and service in ministry.
