Busy Day - Great Day

We just finished our ESL classes a few minutes and praise God they all went well. Mike is teaching the advanced class and has 7 students. He feels good about it, but there is a lot of disparity in the English level of his students, so pray for guidance in being revelant to all his students. Michael has 11 ladies in his intermediate class. It went well, he made the mistake of saying he "hopes to come back with a wife some day" meaning he hopes to bring back a wife from the states, but translation was lost and they were immediately engaged. Scott has 3 students in beginners class and had to readjust his style of teaching quickly to incorporate both vocabulary and sentence building, but it went well. There was a lot of growth by the end of the class. It was successful first night. Praise God. The morning went great too. We started off with introductions and a song to get the kids pumped up. Thanks to Mark and Troy for the introductory videos they were a hit as well. Darlene and Ann led the beginners class and saw a wide variety in learners, but felt it went great. Wendy and Michael had the intermediate learners yelling BINGO loud enough to wake up the neighborhood. They were fired up about some food BINGO! Ralph and the boys did a great job getting some pre-teens talking. There is a wide variety of learners in the class, but they started to open up as the class went on. Overall, a great morning followed by a little kickball action. Lunch was great, I will post a picture of the strudle later. Janos made some greek salad and chicken, it was outstanding. This afternoon we had devotional time and Scott did some soccer training. Three is the number of the day for Scott, he had three boys, but they had a great time and hopefully learned something. Praise God for his provision today. I will try and post some pictures later. Thanks for your prayers and support.

Great to hear that the first day went well for everyone. It is interesting how God arranges things in ways we can plan for. May the team continue to be His hands and feet. Viva Espana ! Has Ralph relaxed yet?
