Haiti is Hot, Hot, Hot

The team is doing great, serving well, and helping in a variety of
ways around Canaan. That said, we really feel like the hospitality
extended to us exceeds the work we are accomplishing. It has been a
blessing so far to be invited to participate in life at Canaan.
We did have one team member get sick yesterday evening (probably from
the heat), but the Lord really blessed him with solid rest and he is
refreshed and back at full speed today.
We will continue on projects that they need help with, but we are sure
to make time to play soccer with the kids. The goals and soccer balls
given by MBCC Kids Ministry from VBS are a big hit. We unveiled them
today to cheers from the kids. In the first match our boys lost the
US vs. Haiti match 12-15. I am sure there will be a rematch before we
leave.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
By the way, as the title of this post says ... it is HOT! Pray for our
bodies to adjust quickly so we can keep pace and really love on this
community for the sake of the Gospel.
