Lazy Sunday Afternoon

The only thing we are missing is fried chicken and AC and it would be perfect.  We are at the Paulus House telling bad jokes, working on lesson plans, and brainstorming some ideas for kids games.

It was a great morning.  Most of us woke up a little late and had a quick breakfast before heading out to worship service at the Paulus House.  Zoli led worship, we could pick up on a few songs in Hungarian, " I Can Only Imagine", "He is Exalted", and "How Great is Our God".  Our very own Ralph Bishop preached on the prodigal son this morning with Sanyesz translating for the Hungarians.  During the sermon Ralph used the word "rude".  Apparently there is no Hungarian translation for "rude", so the closest equivalent is the word "club" from a Hungarian story of a man who used to club people he didn't like.  So a small giggle came out when Ralph encouraged us to love people who "club us".  Andras daughter Esther, helped translate for us when Ralph wasn't preaching.  It was a great service.  Following the service we went back to the mall for lunch with Sanyesz, Andras, and family.  Only a few went back to McDonald's the rest of us enjoyed some Greek food.  Auston and Lucy enjoyed some time on the electronic ride and Wendy got to do some store browsing.  We grabbed some "Candy Fluff" (aka. Cotton Candy) on the way out and headed back to the Paulus House.  We've been here since while Queen Darla, Zoli, and Mike worked out the details upstairs.  We are about to head back to the hotel for an hour and return for dinner and the World Cup game.  We will post some pictures later tonight.  Pray that for our final preparations for tomorrow.  We are excited.
