Getting Settled in Haiti

After navigating the process of customs, receiving baggage and
connecting with the Busbys and Jessica DeLaney, we took our hour +
ride to Canaan via truck. We got to see a lot of the landscape and
portrait of the country from the truck as a visual intro to our new
surroundings.
We made it safely to Canaan and got settled in last night. We had
some time to get to know the staff and play games with the kids. We
had orientation on the hill and were blessed with a beautiful sunset
over the sea coupled with a rainbow over the mountains right behind
us. The heavens declared God's glory for us as we were welcomed to
Canaan.
Today the guys will be helping dig a cistern while the ladies help in
the school and medical clinics. We hope to be an encouragement to the
staff and kids as we participate in the bigger picture of what God is
already up to here in Haiti.
Thank you for your prayers. It is very hot and the internet is slow so
updates may be sparing. Sorry. Please keep us in your prayers.
